On September 1, 1948, I was married to Annie Maureen Ritter of Corpus Christi, Texas

After spending one year as a Penn State Freshman at Edinboro State Teachers College in 1948-1949 we moved to Corpus Cristi, Texas and bought a home on Gardenia Street. The following pictures of Annie and our first home were taken during a family reunion in South Texas in the spring of 2001.

(Much of the photo record of Annie is in the process of being recollected.)

In the early 60's, the federal government changed the way corporations could account for research and development expenditures. This made contract research dollars, which were the lifeblood of e i.doucette associates, very scarce. As a result, operations were terminated and Edward accepted a position as Technical Director of Amerace ESNA Corporation in New York City.

This position required travel all over the world including 18 trips to Europe in one 12 month period

Don't know who was cut out of the picture with mother, maybe they didn't want to be associated with anyone who would wear a pair of pants like that.
